Smith & Allan Honing Oil 6

The product is a light coloured, high performance, chlorine free neat oil for use in Honing and Finishing applications and is suitable for all types of abrasives. The product is formulated with severely refined base oil, which incorporates a tailored blend of polar, extreme pressure and lubricity additives. The product contains a highly effective anti-mist package, exhibits excellent wetting properties and outstanding flushing properties to keep machines and tooling free from fines and debris.

The product is to be used neat as supplied and is intended for finishing applications including honing and polishing operations on cast iron and steel components including chisels, plane blades, knives and drill bits. The product is particularly suited to primary honing with sulphurised stones and finish honing with diamond tools.
