Smith & Allan Rapier SS 3MX Fluid - Semi-Synthetic Soluble Cutting Oil

Rapier SS 3MX is a biostable, semi-synthetic soluble cutting fluid which contains more than 35% mineral oil. It forms a fluorescent clear stable emulsion in most waters and is highly resistant to bacterial and fungal degradation. The product is low foaming and compatible with machine tool components whilst offering good inhibition against corrosion of both the work piece and machine parts, it also offers resistance to contact corrosion allowing work pieces to be stacked without the risk of staining. It is non-phenolic, formaldehyde free and nitrate free, to give optimum operator acceptability.

Rapier SS 3MX is suitable for use in various metal working applications including turning, milling, sawing, drilling and screw cutting. It is particularly suitable where machine tool manufacturers recommend a coolant that contains more than 35% mineral oil.
