Smith & Allan Select SAE 40 - Detergent Free Classic Motor Oil

Select Motor Oils are a range of very high-quality detergent free engine lubricants. The products are manufactured utilising highly refined, virgin base oils and carefully selected performance enhancing additives. Select Motor Oils offer excellent protection against wear and corrosion and exhibit outstanding oxidative and thermal stability. These lubricants also offer excellent resistance to foaming and enhanced cold flow characteristics.

Select Motor Oils are recommended primarily for use in pre-1960ís Veteran; Edwardian; Vintage and Classic cars and commercial vehicles as well as Pioneer; Veteran; Vintage and Classic motorcycles, where a detergent free engine lubricant is preferred or specified. They may also be used in gearboxes where an engine oil is specified, care should be taken to ensure that the correct viscosity is chosen for both engine and gearbox applications.
