Smith & Allan Select XL 20W - Low Detergent Classic Motor Oil

Select XL Motor Oils are a range of very high-quality, low detergent/dispersant engine lubricants, formulated utilising highly refined mineral base stocks and carefully selected performance additives. The products exhibit excellent resistance to wear and corrosion, as well as control over piston deposits, soot and sludge. The products offer enhanced cold flow characteristics and display outstanding thermal and oxidative stability and resistance to foaming.

Select XL Motor Oils are recommended primarily for naturally aspirated four stroke petrol and diesel engines found in classic passenger cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and tractors manufactured post 1960 up to the early 1970ís or where a lubricant of this performance level and quality is specified by the original equipment manufacturer. Care should be taken to ensure that the correct viscosity is selected. Select XL 30 and 40 are suitable choices for diesel engines found in canal boats, watercraft and older generators.
